State: Missouri

Age: 21

Bio: I love waterways, the Ozarks, tallgrass prairies and the smell of sumac and cedar. I spent the first ten years of my life on 40 acres of fields and woods just two farmsteads away from a conservation area. Since then, I've always actively sought wild places and other people who love them. I'm currently studying journalism and anthropology at the University of Missouri and serve as president of Sustain Mizzou, an environmental nonprofit.
