Bio: I am a Senior at Haleyville High School. I'm also on the Cross Country and Track teams, where I am ranked the 11th 4A runner in the State of Alabama, with the team finishing as runner-up in the State Meet. I am Co-President of the First United Methodist Church Youth Group. I am a very active member at the First United Methodist Church, as well as the youth group, where I participate in several volunteer projects. In 2008, I traveled to Ojo, New Mexico with the First United Methodist Church for a Mission Trip. I am the President of VICA and a member of the Jr. Civitan Club. I am also serving as a Volunteer Fireman. I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and learning different survival skills. I will graduate in May 2011, where I will attend college to pursue a degree Drafting Design Engineering Technology in Civil Engineering.
I Am A State Park Ambassador Because: I love hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and learning different survival skills. Pretty much anything to do with outdoors I enjoy.

I've Visited State Parks In: Alabama, Florida, Georgia
Coolest Thing I've Seen In Parks: The Nicholas Wilson Memorial Run at Lake Lurleen. I was amazed at all the crazy people wanting to run in 20 degree weather. I was one of the crazy people. There was a 50k run (which is 32 miles) and a 16 mile run. There was also a 4 mile run which I ran. I ended up in 3rd, but the trails are amazing and well worth it. You can walk, jog, run and hike on all the trails. Its well worth it.
