Bio: Rachel Wood is a lover of nature and visual media. She has been a member of the Girl Scout Backpacking Interest Group for over seven years and goes on monthly backpacking trips as well as one week-long summer trip each year. As a child, she participated in Junior Ranger programs and had fun camping with family and friends. She is currently a student studying film production, and is eager to help the state parks through her creative and media skills.
I Am A State Park Ambassador Because: I enjoy living in and being a part of nature, and state parks are the perfect way to gain access to the beauty and wonder of the outdoors. I hope to learn more about California's state parks and share my knowledge and experiences with the rest of America through the State Parks Ambassador Program.
