Bio: My name is Waverly Garner, I'm seventeen, and have lived in Virginia my whole life. I love state parks, the outdoors, and all kinds of hiking, biking, and boating advetures. I'm really excited to have this opportunity, and hope to see a lot of people on the trail.
Waverly's Updates
I Am A State Park Ambassador Because: I want to get people inspired to go to the parks. There is so much out there to enjoy, the beauty of nature, and the tranquility of a long bikeride or hike past amazing scenery. I believe people need to get out more, and experience this for themselves, so I hope to do just that, and spread the word.
Schools Attended: Prince Edward Elementary. Homeschooled since the 5th Grade.
First State Park: Wow...not sure. We visited a lot of parks when I was very little.
Favorite State Park: I love Grayson Highlands, and of course, High bridge.
Park I Am Dying To Visit: Every one I haven't been to already.

Coolest Thing I've Seen In Parks: An electric blue crawdad. Not even kidding. This was at Hungry Mother, right in a little creek, bright blue, and beautiful. I caught him to look, then released him to the wild.
Interests: Violin, hiking, biking, kayaking, baseball, paintball...fishing...list goes on.

What Not To Miss In My State's Parks: I never miss seeing trash on the side of the trail. Thank everyone for cleaning up so well :D
