State: Oregon
Age: 27
Bio: As an Oregon Native I've been fortunate enough to experience much of what Oregon has to offer. Be it camping and hiking in the outdoors or experiencing its unique and interesting towns, Oregon is one cool place. During school at Southern Oregon University, my time was split between perusing a career in filmmaking, photography and auto racing. However, by chance, another passion entered my life...the outdoors! It all happened in the strangest of ways. After a friend and I got lost snowboarding at Mt. Ashland and thankfully, rescued late that night, we had to make a trek into the wilderness a month later to find our abandoned snowboard gear...after a long day of snowshoeing and finding our stuff...we thought - "Hey, this is pretty fun!" So a new passion developed...not the getting lost part - hiking of course!
I Am A State Park Ambassador Because: Most weekends, you will find me outdoors - so, naturally being an Ambassador was a great fit. With my schooling in video production, I hope to mix my skills and interests to help you all experience this great state!

Just a short jaunt past Maupin, Oregon is one of the most picture-esque (think: Disney Movie-Cover) waterfalls I've ever seen! If you are ever headed to the Deschutes, stop by and see this usually passed-over gem. Be sure to check out the old powerhouse and the second set of falls, too.
