State: Virginia
Park: York River State Park
Age: 20
Bio: I have always enjoyed the outdoors, as an Eagle Scout, I have participated in countless different outdoor activities, and sharing that with friends is the best experience you could possibly have. I have always held the philosophy of loving every minute of life, and that's exactly what I've been doing.
I Am A State Park Ambassador Because: I have become a State Parks Ambassador through my friends group called the Friends of York River State Park, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the state park with various volunteer efforts.
Schools Attended: Woodside High School, Thomas Nelson Community College
First State Park: Too young to remember!
Favorite State Park: York River State Park
Park I Am Dying To Visit: I've heard a lot of good things about a lot of state parks, so pretty much all of them!
I've Visited State Parks In: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia
Coolest Thing I've Seen In Parks: Quite honestly I think the coolest thing I've seen at a state park is sunken ships being used as barrier reefs off the coast of Kiptopeake State Park on the Virginia Eastern Shore. I was always curious about them, and always wondered if people ever tried to go inside of them.
Interests: Videography, Facebook, Music, Movies, Whitewater Rafting, Skiing, Hiking, Biking, etc.
Music Played At My Campfire: Really anything that fits the mood, could be anything from Plain White T's to The Bunny The Bear.
What Not To Miss In My State's Parks: Scenary, wildlife, available outdoor activities, you name it, we've pretty much got it in Virginia.
Who I Would Go On A Hike With If I Could: Any of my friends from college.
This Sums It All Up For Me: I'm in love with this little thing called 'life'.
