Foster Falls Festival of lights was held December 2nd and 3rd. More than 5000 individual food cans were collected, for the Agappe Food bank in Wytheville VA, also 300 toys for Santas workshop of social services were donated. There were many displays of lights, and there was a chocie of either a hayride or a horse drawn carriage. Overall it was a great success for the community.
Indianapolis, Indiana-It is Christmas time again, and many state parks have begun to celebrate the holiday in different ways. I traveled to two of those celebrations to visit the Jolly Old Elf and see what Christmas in the late 1800's would look like. (read more...)
LIBERTY, INDIANA-It's now winter in Indiana. The leaves are gone, and things can now be seen that cannot be seen in the warmer seasons. I recently went out to Whitewater Memorial State Park on a warm winter day to walk the park’s Veteran Vista Loop trail. (read more...)
