Minimum Age for Kids: no minimum
Restrictions: must be able to classic ski ~10 degree slope, herringbone and snowplow. No dogs please.
Length of the Trail: 2.5 miles
Things to Bring: Classic ski gear, appropriate warm weather gear adequate for conditions, parking pass or $5, water bottle, good attitude.

Additional Information: Get outside and start your new year with a guided two-three mile classic ski at Independence Mine State Historical Park in Hatcher Pass, with Alaska State Parks. Enjoy lots of great snow and outstanding views of the Chugach Mountains from the heart of the Talkeetna Mountains. After your tour, warm up with cocoa and lunch at the local lodge. This will be a great start to a happy and healthy new year!
