Black Moshannon State Park will host Halloween with science-themed events on October 10 and 16 from 10 am to noon. The program’s aim is to introduce scientific concepts in a more hands-on learning environment. Examples of these are the use of static electricity to make ghosts, scarecrows, or anything move, or how to use slime to make the pumpkin vomit.

The Halloween science-themed is on its 2nd-year, but for this year, the park has been doing a science program since the start of the winter doing various experiments related to winter. For participants, registration is required you can visit the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources calendar of events at for more information.
