Celebrate the New Year With a ‘First Day Hike’ Adventure at Pennsylvania State Parks on January 1, 2022.

First day hikes provide families with opportunity to begin the year with a rejuvenating and good connection outdoors via a healthy hike.

State parks staff and volunteers lead the hikes, which are usually about one or two miles, but can be longer depending on the park and its terrain.
