Illinois’ most popular fall festival will be hosted again by Fort Massac State Park, as Fort Massac Encampment returns this Saturday and Sunday, October 17-17, 2021 for its 47th annual event. This event is hosted by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and sponsored by the Greater Metropolis Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Experience what it was like at the Fort Massac State Park during the 18th century to early 19th century.

Testing and COVID-19 vaccinations are also scheduled at the medical area during the event.

Admission to the Fort Massac Encampment is free!

Parking is available at the Old Fairgrounds and the Fort Massac State Park will be closed to public vehicles during the Encampment hours.

Encampment event times are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17.

Family and youth activities and food and drink will be available.
