Friends of the Black River Forest, a conservation group asked the Wisconsin Supreme Court to let it challenge the state’s decision to transfer the 5-acre parcel and 2-acre easement to Kohler company.
They think it will deprive people of enjoying the Kohler-Andrae State Park and it would harm the wildlife in the area.
Kohler company and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) want the Supreme Court to toss out the lawsuit. They argue that there was still no harm done as the course construction hasn’t even begun.
Everyone is still waiting for the court ruling.
