The rescue team was formed by 10 Camden firefighter, 5 Coastal Mountains Search and Rescue team members, a Knox County Regional Communications staff, and a Maine Game Warden in order to find a 28-year-old from Bath woman who got lost in Mount Battie State Park.

After a 3-hour long search, she was finally found safe. It was reported that the woman was hiking by herself dusk of October 10, and got lost so she called emergency services at around 6:30 pm.

Luckily, she was found within 3 hours because of the GPS coordinates of the cellphone she used to call 911.
