Western Monarch butterflies are now making their way to the Pismo State Beach Butterfly Grove. They are seeking warmth in the eucalyptus trees in that particular California State Park. Reports say that a total of about 7,199 butterflies were counted so far for this season.
The monarch butterfly population is looking good for this year compared to last year’s 200.
Pismo State Beach Butterfly Grove State Park officials are planting more native nectar flowers in their garden in order to provide the Monarch butterflies with a sustainable source of energy.
