Ohio State Parks received a total of $10M grants for conservation, renovations, and upgrades

Ohio State Parks received a total of $10M grants for conservation, renovations, and upgrades from The National Park Service’s Land and Water Conservation Fund. This grant funding was announced by Ohio U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown’s office and is part of the legislation passed in June 2020. Out of the 18 grants, 3 state parks that got the highest grants are Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon with $2.5 million, Salt Fork State Park in Lore City with $1.5 million, and $1.1 million will be directed to Magee Marsh Wildlife Area in Oak Harbor.
