Centenarian Park Service Ranger gets honored by having a Middle School named after her

Betty Reid Soskin, America’s oldest park service ranger turned 100 & was given the best gift and honor as a Middle school was named after her in honor of all the years of service she had with Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, California., where she served as Park guide. Her work includes explaining the contribution of women and African Americans during the World War II. As such, formerly known as Juan Crespi Middle School, is now known as the Betty Reid Soskin Middle School (in El Sobrante, California). Source Image Credit
