Volunteers get rid of invasive plants at Savannas Preserve State Park

The primary purpose of The Project ANT Program is to eliminate invasive exotic plants, with the help of local volunteers. This project is initiated by Florida Park Service under AmeriCorps program. The AmeriCorps members at Savannas Preserve State Park are looking for volunteers to come out and help remove invasive plants and trees on the fourth Monday of the month at the park, meeting at the Savannas Preserve Education Center, 2541 SE Walton Road, from 10 a.m. to noon.
