America’s State Parks was founded in 2019 by a team of outdoor enthusiasts who noticed a glaring gap: while there were endless resources for planning national park trips, state parks—which collectively welcome more visitors annually than all national parks combined—had fragmented, outdated, or non-existent online resources.
We set out to build the most comprehensive, user-friendly state park resource on the web. Today, we’re proud to be the trusted companion for families planning their first camping trip, photographers hunting for the perfect shot, anglers searching for their next catch, and adventurers seeking hidden gems off the beaten path.
