The natural area features a steep 1,100-foot climb to the summit with panoramic views of the Connecticut River Valley, downtown Brattleboro skyline, and the Green Mountains, a rock outcropping near the summit for sweeping river and mountain views, the Mine Ledge side trail with stunning southwestern views into Vermont and down to the Connecticut River, adjacency to Madame Sherri Forest with its famous 1920s stone staircase ruins, the western terminus of the Wantastiquet-Monadnock Trail connecting to Pisgah State Park and Mount Monadnock, and approximately 4 miles round-trip moderate hiking.
