Olympia — 10 miles north — is the state capital with the Capitol Campus, Farmers Market (Thursday-Sunday), and Puget Sound waterfront. Tumwater Falls Park — 8 miles north — has waterfalls on the Deschutes River (the original Olympia Brewery site). Centralia/Chehalis — 15 miles south — provide services.
