Southwest State Parks

None of the four Southwest states runs a free park system. Texas charges $4–8 per person aged 13 and up, depending on the park; Arizona, New Mexico and Oklahoma charge per vehicle. Arizona consolidated its passes into a single $200 annual pass for 2026, the most expensive in the country.
