Frequently Asked Questions

What is a musky?

Muskellunge (“musky”) are the largest members of the pike family โ€” reaching 50+ inches and 40+ pounds. Called “the fish of 10,000 casts,” muskies are apex predators that eat fish, frogs, ducklings, and even muskrats. Merritt Reservoir is one of the few Great Plains fisheries supporting this species.
