🏍️ 35 Miles of ATV Trails, 565-Acre Fishing Lake, and Natchez Trace Heritage — Mississippi’s Action Park — A 2,500-acre state park with 35 miles of multi-use trails for ATVs, horses, and mountain bikes, a 565-acre fishing lake, cabins, 76 RV sites, and Natchez Trace history — Pontotoc County, Mississippi

Trace State Park is Mississippi’s premier action-sport park35 miles of multi-use trails open to ATVs, dirt bikes, horses, and mountain bikes, plus a 565-acre lake stocked with largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. Named after the historic Natchez Trace that once connected Nashville to Natchez, the park sits on 2,500 acres of Pontotoc Ridge terrain just minutes from Tupelo.

This is one of the few state parks in the Southeast that actively welcomes off-road vehicles — ATVs, side-by-sides (max 50″ width), and dirt bikes ride the same trail network as equestrians. Mountain bikers get dedicated single-track trails ranging from beginner to intermediate. After the ride, cool off at the two concrete boat ramps or fish from ADA-accessible piers on Trace Lake.
