World-Class Bass Fishing & River Views

Lake Dardanelle State Park is located in the heart of the Arkansas River Valley. The park sits on the shores of a 34,300-acre reservoir, making it one of the most popular bass fishing tournament locations in the country. With its state-of-the-art weigh-in pavilion and visitor center featuring 8,000 gallons of aquariums, it’s a premier destination for anglers and nature lovers alike.

🎣 Tournament Central: Lake Dardanelle hosts major events like the Phoenix Bass Fishing League and AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open in 2025. The tournament weigh-in pavilion is a sight to see, even if you aren’t competing.

Camping

The park offers 74 campsites across two main areas: Russellville and Dardanelle. Both offer scenic views of the lake and easy access to the water.

  • Bream

Multiple boat ramps and a barrier-free fishing pier provide excellent access.
