Historic Site at Caesar Creek State Park

A living history museum and 15 historic buildings from the early 1800s lies along the southwest end of Caesar Creek Lake. This reconstructed village includes a Quaker meetinghouse, carpenter shop, blacksmith shop, pioneer schoolhouse, and family cabins. Many of these historic buildings were reconstructed from original log cabins that date back to the 1700s.

Take a self guided tour of the grounds around these historic buildings or check out one of the park’s seasonal events including Civil War reenactments, harvest festivals, and old time cooking demonstrations. And get a look inside.
