Be aware: sandstone is slippery when wet, and venomous copperhead snakes frequent sunny rock areas.

When is Giant City Lodge open?

Giant City Lodge is open from early February through early December. The lodge and Bald Knob Dining Room close from mid-December until the first weekend of February. The historic CCC-built lodge features 34 cabins, an outdoor swimming pool, gift shop, and full-service lounge. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for weekend stays.
