🏌️ A Full Resort on Oklahoma’s Biggest Lake — 18-Hole Golf, 25 Miles of Horse Trails, a Marina, and 102,500 Acres of Water — Arrowhead State Park (Arrowhead Area at Lake Eufaula State Park) near Canadian, Oklahoma, 2,200-acre park on Lake Eufaula (Oklahoma’s largest lake at 102,500 surface acres), 18-hole par-72 Arrowhead Golf Course, 25 miles equestrian trails with dedicated horse camp, Area 51 Marina (restaurant, fuel, indoor fishing), swimming beach, 100 tent sites + 91 RV sites, Outlaw Nature Trail, miniature golf, onsite airstrip — McIntosh County, OK

Lake Eufaula is Oklahoma’s largest lake — 102,500 surface acres of water surrounded by 600 miles of shoreline in the rolling hills of southeastern Oklahoma. Arrowhead State Park sits on a peninsula jutting into this inland sea, offering everything from championship golf to 25 miles of horse trails to a marina where you can fish indoors.

This isn’t a “take a hike and go home” park. This is a full-service resort destination — the kind of place where you can play 18 holes in the morning, ride horses in the afternoon, and fish for crappie off the marina dock at sunset.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I really fly into the park?

Yes — Arrowhead has an onsite airstrip. It’s one of the very few state parks in America with its own runway. Private pilots can fly in and camp or play golf.

Is the golf course public?

Yes — the 18-hole Arrowhead Golf Course is open to the public. Green fees are reasonable by Oklahoma standards, and the lake views from several holes are spectacular.

How big is Lake Eufaula compared to other Oklahoma lakes?

It’s the largest — 102,500 acres with 600 miles of shoreline. For comparison, that’s larger than Lake Texoma’s Oklahoma portion and more than double the size of Grand Lake.

Is there still a lodge?

The historic Arrowhead Lodge is no longer operating as a state-run hotel. Overnight options are now camping (tent and RV sites) and group camps with kitchens and bunkhouses.
