Wadsworth Falls features two waterfalls — the main falls (a broad cascade over resistant volcanic rock) and Little Falls (a more intimate cascade in a shaded ravine). The falls flow over basalt from the same volcanic events that created the Metacomet Ridge 200 million years ago.
