The North Lodge is a 120-room luxury lodge—one of the newest in the West Virginia State Parks system! It features an indoor pool, hot tub, full-service spa, and indoor/outdoor dining. The classic 48-room lodge remains available too.

The 18-hole championship course was designed by legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., opening in 1974. It features par 72, four tee positions, and bent grass throughout—a true destination course in the Appalachians.

CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) Legacy Cabins are historic cabins built in the 1930s using wood frame or stone construction. They offer a rustic, authentic experience of the park’s Depression-era heritage. Other cabin styles (Economy, Classic, Vacation) are also available.

Yes! The park has a 6-acre lake with a sandy beach open Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can rent rowboats and paddleboats too. Lodge guests also have access to an indoor pool and hot tub year-round.
