Roosevelt State Park is a state park at 2149 MS-13, Morton, Scott County, Mississippi, on the edge of Bienville National Forest surrounding 150-acre Shadow Lake. The park features 15 renovated vacation cabins (9 original CCC-built), a motel, 110 full-hookup RV campsites and primitive camping, 150-acre Shadow Lake with bass, crappie, bream, and catfish fishing, kayak rentals, the Shadow Lake Splash Zone seasonal pool with water slide, an 18-hole disc golf course (Moccasin Bend), mountain biking and nature trails (5 miles), tennis and pickleball courts, and the Alfreda Harris Lodge with camp store.

Roosevelt is Mississippi’s CCC masterpiece — built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the park’s original stone and timber cabins have been lovingly renovated while preserving their Depression-era character. Shadow Lake provides 150 acres of fishing, kayaking, and waterfront relaxation.

The Splash Zone with water slide brings family fun, while the 18-hole Moccasin Bend disc golf course and 5 miles of mountain biking trails add active recreation.
